The SUEZ-Institut de France Award follows the principles and organisation of the “Water for All” competition, which it replaced in 2011. It rewards projects and innovations that contribute to the development of water services, sanitation and waste management in developing countries.

The jury will give priority to projects:

• designed for appropriation by local stakeholders and the project’s beneficiaries (populations, local authorities, etc.);


• enabling the integration and participation of at-risk populations;


• applicable to urban and peri-urban environments
